Craftspeople who advised on the book have contributed reproductions of the Archer’s kit.

Hilary  is a specialist in traditional archery and a skilled maker of bows and arrows. She advised on archery in the book and even let Jane shoot some arrows with a longbow!

Neil Burridge is contributing replicas of the Amesbury Archer’s copper daggers. He is a prehistoric metalwork specialist and advised Jane on matters metallic. He might have provided inspiration for the band of copper smiths…
